Dr. Tricia M. Hartwig:  Living A Dream
Since she can remember, she always wanted to be a veterinarian.  Growing up in Iowa, she was always surrounded by family pets.  She graduated from Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in May 1994.  She worked at Jordan Creek Animal Hospital in West Des Moines, IA for 5 years, then moved to Indiana where she worked in an emergency clinic for 2 years.  Caring for animals as well as taking care of clients is what she likes, so, when a client-friend from Iowa moved to Longmont, and told her they needed a good veterinarian, she decided to move here in July 2000.  Dr.  Hartwig has a daughter and 2 dogs.  She loves to ride horses, play softball, hike, and do outdoor activities with her daughter and their dogs.  Her philosophy of life and work are based around the same premise, "You get out of situations what you put into them."

Devin Soutter:  Technician
I was born in Des Moines, IA, but have lived in Longmont, CO with my mom, stepdad, two dogs, three cats, and two horses since 1998.  I have always had a passion for animals, but have never pursued the interest until I was offered a position at Tender Loving Care Animal Hospital.  After a great week of meeting clients and their furry companions I like to spend my weekends being outside, riding my four-wheeler, watching movies, and, most important, being around my family and friends.

Raised in Philadelphia and at a young age recognized two things:  I had a strong affinity for basketball and animals.  Fulfilled many basketball dreams and decided recently to start fulfilling the other; my love of animals and a desire to be working with them.
